Counter Attack is the 2-player football strategy game you can play at your kitchen table. It's aimed at football fans who love the tactical side of the game, whatever their age.

In Counter Attack you control every single action on the pitch – every  pass, dribble, tackle, shot and save! You have to decide how to best utilise your 16-player squad to make best use of each player’s unique abilities.

Build a squad of players 

Every football manager needs a clever stategy, a slice of luck and a good squad of players. Counter Attack comes with a set of 35 players, each of whom have a unique set of abilities. Will you inherit a squad of silky-skilled ballers, or second division scrappers?

As their manager, you have to decide how to deploy your players on the pitch. Quick, tricky attackers might make your team better suited to breaking down the wings, while a tall striker could lead to you playing high balls into the box - but it's up to you, because you call all the shots!

The Movement Phase

Football is a dynamic sport featuring 23 constantly moving parts (2 teams of 11 and one ball!). It's Counter Attack's Movement Phase that really brings the game to life! Managers take turns to move players around the pitch in between the passes, tackles and shots they try to pull off. 

The Movement Phase has been designed to give the game an air of realism - managers can execute their favourite tactical strategies in this game. You can do all of this and more in Counter Attack:
