excellent value box set,4 discs for the price of one..Kiss live across the decades, performances from the 70's,80's & 90's.
Disc 1 live from the agora ballroom 1974, a straight reissue of the previous release minus the bonus tracks from ABC IN CONCERT & The Mike Douglas Show,so its the same rough and ready youthful Kiss, warts and all from a radio broadcast 42 years old.
Disc 2 Detroit 1984,the radio broadcast from the show that became the ' Animalive Live Uncensored ' video, the complete show minus some stage banter and the solos,to allow it to fit onto one disc. You'll smile from the moment Detroit Rock City storms out of the speakers when you realise how fast they were playing the songs back then (if you havent actually seen them live back then, you might be forgiven for thinking the cd was speeded up slightly..ha ha). superb reminder of the late ,great Eric Carr on drums.
Disc 3 New York '88, live at the Ritz, previously issued as 'The Ritz On Fire',this is the complete show, and missses some radio chatter but includes 2 tracks 'bang bang you' & 'reason too live' which were missing from the previous release. Sounds superb showing just how far the Kulick/Carr line up had come.
Disc 4 san Paulo '94 , not a radio broadcast this time, would appear to be taken straight from an MTV Brazil broadcast, not the full show and some extra tracks appear on the bonus disc with Kissology 3,best sound of the 4 discs, unsurprisingly,Eric Singer on drums and again highlight how good this line up was ,a crying shame it never lasted beyond 1 studio album, fantastic track list including the likes of Dr Love/Makin Love/I Stole Your Love/Parasite & Got To choose"
