This album showcases Genesis’ stellar concert at the Hammersmith Odeon, in London, on 10 June 1976, during the A Trick of the Tail Tour.
Broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour, this astonishing performance features Genesis classics such as Firth of Fifth, The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, The Carpet Crawlers, I Know What (I Like In Your Wardrobe) and more.
Genesis began the A Trick of the Tail Tour in North America in March 1976. The band commenced the European leg of the tour with six consecutive shows at the Hammersmith Odeon, across 9–14 June. Importantly, this was the first tour featuring Phil Collins on lead vocals, following Peter Gabriel’s departure from the band, and also the only tour with Bill Bruford on drums.
