Their activism goes beyond the subject of their music, all profits from their first 3 shows of their latest tour were donated to immigrant rights organizations in the US. During their nine-years before they split, Rage Against the Machine’s helped build the foundation for nu metal with their explosive sound which is a mix of rap, hardcore punk, funk, and metal.
